The entire staff at Classic Girl Clothing (my husband, daughter and myself) went camping last week. It's an annual camping trip through my husband’s college alumni association. My daughter has an amazing time year after year. She has the same friends, activities, parties, campfires and this year she sang a song in the talent show.
My daughter decided to wear one of our CGC Classic Girl Clothing denim dress, “Walk in the Park” samples in the talent show. All evening people complimented her singing and her “Walk in the Park” dress. I was honored that she wanted to wear one of our dresses her first time performing in front of 350 people. She did a great job!!! We were so proud of her courage and her follow-through. About two weeks before our trip she said she wanted to sing a song, then she picked out “Let's go fly a kite” from Mary Poppins. She told me she wanted to wear one of my dresses because it would give her extra confidence. She said she knew she looked good so she felt good. At its best, that is what clothing can do for you, boost your confidence.
